Accounting and H/R Manager
Medium-sized nonprofit private school seeking an Account and HR Manager. Duties include but are not limited to:

• managing the overall provision of Human Resources services,
• policies and programs for the school,
• being responsible for all payroll activities related to a twice monthly payroll,
• managing accounts receivable, • accounts payable functions,
• preparation of reports, and
• arrange and oversee completion of all work – posting, processing and verification of documents.

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred,
• 3-5 years of accounting/HR experience, • payroll and benefits administration experience,
• AP/AR/1099/Payroll system experience,
• accounting software experience,
• strong personal computer skills and business software skills,
• Senior Systems experience a plus,
• great people and problem solving skills, and
• patience and flexibility as well as commitment to getting the job done.

Salary commensurate with experience

Controller
Medium-sized nonprofit private school seeks Controller. To direct and manage the schools’ accounting functions and activities. Duties include but are not limited to:

• oversight of AR and AP,
• supervision of employees,
• report generation,
• forecasting,
• develop and maintain records and systems,
• budget preparation,
• cash flow management
• bank/financial account reconciliation,
• fixed asset management, and
• audit preparation.

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting,
• CPA designation with 5 years relevant experience,
• great communication and personal skills,
• working knowledge of business accounting policies, procedures and software,
• Senior Systems experience a plus, and
• patience and a sense of humor in stressful situations as well as commitment to getting the job done.

Salary commensurate with experience
